I used to go to work and had the feeling that everyone needed to like me. I was focused on making sure everyone had what they wanted, even at the expense of losing my own way. At least I could say at the end of the day, they seem to like me.

We all care about how others perceive us and always want to look good in other people’s eyes. Our feelings get hurt when we are not noticed or recognized for whatever we are doing.

News flash, its your job to do your job. Its not a popularity contest. Leave your feelings at the door when you walk into work. Have a brief attitude adjustment before you sit down at your desk. Realize not everyone is going to like you and that is great. You are an Eagle that soars far above the chickens in the nest. Let your work speak for itself. People are going to talk, so give them something to talk about. Let them see what you know.
